Our Hair

1. What kind of hair is our Raw Hair?

The origin of our raw hair is of East Asia or India. If cared for properly, hair may last 3+ years. Raw hair has not been chemically processed. The cuticles are aligned making the hair virtually tangle free. Our hair is single donor hair. This means no two bundles/wefts are exactly alike and there may be texture and color differences from bundle to bundle.

All wefts in the RAW SEA Collection are double drawn. This means the length is consistent from the top of the wefts to the ends. 

Raw Indian hair is naturally more fine. Therefore, the ends are not double drawn and may be more fine than other collections. It is recommended to order one length up from the desired length if fullness at the ends is a necessity. 

2. Can this hair be colored?

Yes, the hair can be colored.  However, to achieve lighter colors such as platinum blonde, it is suggested that it be colored by a professional.

3. How often should I shampoo this hair?

It is recommended that the hair be lightly moisturized daily but shampooed and conditioned as you see fit which is normally once every 1-2 weeks.

 4. What color does the hair come?

Because of the nature of this single donor hair, each bundle/weft will have it's own variation in color. Hair colors range from light to dark natural brown. This means no two bundles/wefts are exactly alike and there may be texture and color differences from bundle to bundle.

What payments are accepted? 

We accept all major forms of credit/debit via Shop Pay. We also accept Shop Pay Installments.

How do I cancel my order?

Please contact us to explain your issue. Orders that have already been processed may not be cancelled.

What is Pre-Order?

Pre-Order items require additional processing time before shipping. It may be an item that we have to order OR we have to style, make, or process before shipping.

What is your return policy?

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If you have received an error in your order made by our team (wrong length, wrong texture, missing wefts) and you have not altered the hair in any way, please contact us within 3 business days at info@artisanhaircompany.com for a resolution.

Is there a physical address to pick up my order?

 At the moment we are not offering pickup options. Your order must be shipped and signed for.

 

Shipping & Processing

How long is processing?

Each item has its own processing time in the product description. Most in-stock items require a 3-5 business day processing time. The shipping time is determined by the method selected at checkout (normally 2-5 business days).

Processing and shipping times WILL BE AFFECTED BY MAJOR SALES & HOLIDAYS and shipping times will be extended.

We do not do rush orders or ship outside of our normal processing time.

You will receive a shipping notification once the item has been processed and in the first stage of delivery. To track your order, follow the link in the notification. Once the order has been scanned in by the postal service, it is out of our hands and on its way to you.

We can not give an exact day that your order will be delivered. Our parameters are set to give time for proper processing.

We ship Monday-Friday during normal business hours. Saturday and Sunday are not business days.

What are your available shipping options?

We offer 2-5 business day priority shipping that includes tracking. A signature is required upon delivery. Please inspect your order before signing. We typically ship via USPS, but we will use FedEx or UPS when needed.

How long is shipping?

Shipping takes between 2-5 business days after it has left our location. We are not responsible for shipping delays once a package has been accepted and scanned by the postal service. ORDER PROCESSING AND SHIPPING TIMES MAY BE DELAYED DURING A SALE AND HOLIDAYS.

Shipping and tracking details are automatically sent to the customer via email or text once the order has been shipped.

* Please check to make sure your shipping address is entered correctly. We are not responsible for delivery errors with incorrect addresses. Once we have scanned your package with the postal service, it is beyond our control and you will need to contact the postal service for a resolution.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. International shipping options will show at checkout.

Why was my order cancelled?

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion. Your order may have been cancelled for a number of reasons. This includes but is not limited to high fraud analysis by our system, your address was entered incorrectly, you demanded a specific shipping time that was not in agreement with our given parameters, etc.

How will my order be shipped?

We use a range of packing products to ensure the safety of your package upon arrival. Most often, we wrap bundles in netting and place in our cotton bags. They are then packed in a shipping box or bag and sealed with tape before mailing.

 

Chargebacks

We will take legal action for any fraudulent chargeback disputes or chargebacks that aim to gain a product for free without payment. 

Any chargeback made with your financial institution without sending us the order back is unlawful and will prompt a response from our legal team.
